Consist Plan

Passing sidings: 22’ length including turnouts at each end can hold a consist of 2 locomotives and 25 rolling stock of mixed freight.

Local trains consist of 25-cars with 2 locomotives for passing sidings.

Through trains of 50+ cars and up to 4 locomotives per consist run from staging point to staging point.

TODO: mockup a mainline and siding track run in depot to measure length and number of cars/locos in a typical consist. See above in Passing Sidings.

The Depot

HO Gauge Model Railroad depicting the Southern Railway and Norfolk Southern Railroad starting from the merger era circa 1982 to present day. Featuring right of way (ROW) and industries from New Orleans, Louisiana, over Lake Pontchartrain, through Southern and South-Central-Eastern Mississippi, and West-Middle Alabama.
